Buffalos Best Catering By Kim is looking to expand our culinary team with a Lead Banquet Prep Cook
Lead prep cook: The following list of day-to-day job responsibilities :
- Cook and prepare all items needed for the days production
- Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps area organized and free of clutter.
- Sets up sanitation stations,.
- Maintains clean, dry floors throughout the shift.
- Cleans and sanitizes storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators.
- Assists in storing food deliveries.
- Maintains organized and labeled storage of all prepped food
- Able to Produces all prep work on the daily prep list in a timely manner
- Set up salads, cold side needs and rolls for the day
- Leads in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef and other managers as needed.
- Follows sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Ensures that all equipment is in working order and reports problems as they arise.
- Assists with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED a plus
- Hospitality industry, especially kitchen experience a plus
- Current food handler’s card and other certification as required by federal, state, or local law a plus
Full time/ part time/ seasonal positions are available
pay rate range for the position: $18-20 to start earned PTO-avilable after 90 days
